The Indonesian portal MSN writes that the Indonesian authorities admit the possibility of increasing the fee for a visa on arrival (VoA), which now stands at about $35.
According to the head of the Ministry of Tourism, Sandiagi Uno, this could happen as part of a strategy to “screen out unreliable tourists.”
The minister believes that “the current VoA visa policy should be reviewed.” “Let’s do a general cleaning,” Bali Governor Wayan Coster said at a meeting at the Ministry of Tourism.
