From March 16, the Indian authorities resumed the practice of issuing electronic tourist visas interrupted by the coronavirus pandemic for five years.
Such a visa is issued only in electronic form and is available to citizens of 156 countries. It gives the right to enter the country through 25 airports and 5 seaports, including Goa and Mumbai. You cannot cross the border on land with such a visa.
A visa is issued through the Indian Visa Portal website, but if you do not have a foreign bank card, this option is not suitable. Some operators offer their services for 125 US dollars; you can also apply for such a visa yourself through the Indian Embassy in Kyiv. Processing time is three to five business days.
