Bulgaria has abolished visa fees for children under 12

The Bulgarian authorities have decided to abolish the visa fee for children under 12 – previously exempted from it only children under 6. However, when the new rules will come into force is still unknown – the information should be published on the website of consulates and visa centers in Bulgaria.

All other travelers will have to pay € 80 for a visa. Exceptions are citizens of Belarus, Russia, Armenia and Azerbaijan, for whom a visa fee of € 35 has been set.

Most likely, the abolition of visa fees for children under 12 will actually take effect on August 1.

It will be recalled that Ukrainians holding biometric passports do not need a visa to enter Bulgaria.
