Restaurants, travel and food delivery apps have joined the vaccination campaign in the UK. They offer discounts and even free pizza, trying to persuade young people to get vaccinated, according to the Associated Press.
The program, announced by the Ministry of Health and Social Welfare, aims to accelerate the vaccination of people under 30 years of age. Although more than 90 percent of the country’s adult population has at least one dose of the vaccine, in the 18-30 age group this proportion is about 60 percent.
Health Minister Sajid Javid thanked the companies for their participation and encouraged people to take advantage of these offers.
Joint Uber and Bolt travel programs, delivery services and Pizza Pilgrim restaurants are among the companies offering incentives.
