The father of Prince Harry’s wife Thomas Markle decided to sue his daughter to get the right to see his grandchildren – two-year-old Archie and two-month-old Lilibet. He himself stated this in an interview with Fox News.
“I will be very disappointed if I can’t hold my granddaughter in my arms. I will apply to the California courts for the right to see my grandchildren in the near future,” said Thomas Markle.
The Duchess of Sussex’s father also expressed hope that Elizabeth II and other members of the royal family would support him and give him the opportunity to see his grandchildren.
“Archie and Lily are small children. They are not politicians. They are not pawns. They are not part of the game at all. And they are also of royal blood and should have the same rights as other members of the royal family,” Thomas added.
The man also said he feared the memoirs Prince Harry planned to publish. Thomas believes that this will damage the reputation of his grandchildren.
Megan Markle has not communicated with her father for a long time. The reason for the quarrel was the collaboration of parents with journalists, to whom he sold a photo of his daughter on the eve of his wedding to Prince Harry.
Thomas repeatedly apologized to Megan, but the Duchess never forgave him.
