Megan, the wife of Britain’s Prince Harry, watched Prince Philip’s funeral at her home in California on Saturday after her doctor advised her not to go pregnant.
Megan watched as Harry walked in procession to the coffin of Queen Elizabeth’s 99-year-old husband and to other members of the royal family, including her father, Prince Charles, and her brother, Prince William.
The funeral, which took place at St George’s Chapel in Windsor Castle, where Harry and Megan were married in 2018, will be the first time the prince has seen his family since the couple gave an explosive interview to Oprah Winfrey in March.
Megan, officially known as the Duchess of Sussex, had hoped to attend the funeral, but her doctor did not allow her to travel.
Much media attention has been focused on the behavior of the royal roles in relation to Harry.
Harry and Megan moved to Los Angeles and resigned as royalty last year.
The couple also donated a wreath that included flowers such as the national flower of Greece, which represented Philip’s legacy, and Sea Holly to reflect his ties to the navy. The card was written by Megan.
