A year after they left their royal duties and moved to Los Angeles, Madame Tussauds decided that the wax models of Prince Harry and his wife Megan now belonged to the Hollywood attraction area and not to other members of the Windsor House.
The couple, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, left the royal duties to start a new independent career on the other side of the Atlantic, and have since signed agreements to deliver and produce content for Netflix, Spotify and Apple.
Now their models of wax figures have been moved from their place in the royal part of Madame Tussauds in London to join other celebrities.
“Harry and Megan have moved – Madame Tussauds in London has moved its figures of Prince Harry and Megan Markle to a new area for the award ceremony to reflect their move from Frogmore to Hollywood,” said Madame Tussauds.
Later this month, the streaming service Apple TV + will premiere a television documentary series on mental health issues, created by Harry and the queen of the chat show with the United States Oprah Winfrey.
On the eve of the broadcast, Harry appeared in the podcast “Armchair Expert”, organized by American actor Dax Shepard, in which he compared his royal life with “The Truman Show”, a film about a man who involuntarily grew up as the main character in a world-famous TV show.
He also said that when he first started dating Megan, they met at the supermarket to avoid paparazzi photographers, and that the couple enjoyed more freedom after moving to California with their young son Archie.
