The most desirable Ukrainian tourists for the New Year holiday destinations and their most affordable options were named by experts in the tourism market. In general, there are no surprises now – the first place was taken by Egypt, still successfully combines warm sea and affordable prices; in second place – familiar to our tourists, Turkey, and mostly resort, relies on “all inclusive”. This is followed by less accessible destinations, among which the UAE ranks first.
Tour operators and retail experts unanimously gave the first place in New Year’s preferences to Egypt. According to Turprom, referring to a network of travel agencies, it accounts for about 50% of all tours sold.
The lowest price of a tour to Egypt now – 17,200 thousand hryvnias – such data were noted in “Intourist”. For this money the tourist received a 3 * all-inclusive hotel 500 meters from the beach. But on average, tourists still listen to the advice of experts and choose the Egyptian “five” from the “all inclusive”. As a result, the average price of New Year’s Egypt is about 28,000 thousand hryvnias, the agency estimated.
At the same time, tourists were warned that affordable Egypt is rapidly melting – overbooking in hotels both began in October and did not end, and it is obvious that during the New Year holidays, as during high demand, the shortage of seats will also persist. Therefore, tourists are advised to think about a holiday in Egypt as soon as possible.
In second place in the preferences of tourists was Turkey. Although it is impossible to swim in the sea now, the “all inclusive” and rich entertainment program, as well as cheap prices of expensive hotels invariably attract tourists – including resorts, in particular – to Antalya. In Turkey, “found” and the cheapest tours – according to one of the travel agencies “Troika” in Kemer for the New Year still costs tourists 7,500 hryvnia for two, though this is an option without food, the “all inclusive” tour will cost 8,900 hryvnia. Available “fives” – already 24,000 UAH. for two.
The third place was taken by the Emirates – they were chosen by about 15% of tourists. The starting cost of a holiday in Dubai, according to travel agencies 31 thousand hryvnia for two for 3 *, in Ras al-Khaimah – for 28 thousand you can get into the “four”, and all this in the “breakfast” mode. 5 * for “all inclusive” cost 64 thousand for two per week and Ukrainian tourists choose them less often.
The three leaders are followed by the Dominican Republic, Cuba, the Maldives and Sri Lanka – here the order of prices is, of course, different. Tours costing less than 36 thousand – it’s mostly tours to cheap hotels without meals with an “exotic” flight, sometimes lasting more than a day. And so the prices for Cuba in 3 * on breakfasts – from 45 thousand; Dominican Republic – 4 * for breakfast – 65 thousand, Maldives – from 64 thousand.
Tourists who want to save are advised not to “get attached” to the New Year’s week – and decide to rest in the near future. On the next departures to Egypt you can fly from 14,000 hryvnias, to the Emirates – from 25,000 thousand, to Istanbul – from 10,000 thousand hryvnias. Such figures were given by tour operators.
