Abu Dhabi Police confirmed reports of a fire and explosion of three oil tankers in the ICAD 3 area, Mussafah industrial estate, next to oil storage tanks of oil company ADNOC.
A small fire also broke out in a construction area near Abu Dhabi International Airport. As law enforcement officers noted, the cause of the fires could be small flying objects, or drones that fell in two districts of the capital.
Crews of the competent authorities were sent to the scene of the incident, and the fire is currently being extinguished.
The competent authorities launched an extensive investigation into the causes of the fire and its attendant circumstances. However, there is no serious damage to the infrastructure as a result of the explosions.
