The new Anantara World Islands Resort is preparing to open in The World Islands, four kilometers off the coast of Dubai. The five-star beach hotel will start accepting guests at the end of 2021.
Currently, the Anantara network is represented by six resorts in the United Arab Emirates. Guests can reach the new resort by boat from the pier at Anantara the Palm Dubai Resort. The hotel will have 70 rooms, including suites and beach villas.
Villas will be equipped with private pools, outdoor dining areas and access to the beach. The resort will have a restaurant serving Mediterranean cuisine and Arabic-Indian cuisine, including a barbecue on the beach.
Anantara World Islands Resort in Dubai is owned by developer Seven Tides. Construction of the 300 islands in The World Islands began in 2003, but was halted due to the 2008 financial crisis. Currently, the islands are under active construction.
Currently, 15 hotels are being built on the archipelago of The World Islands, made in the form of a world map. In December 2020, two thousand premises were transferred to investors. In addition to private homes, the project is famous for floating villas – the so-called “seahorses” (Floating Seahorse), moored off the coast of the islands.
The total cost of the project on the artificial islands is estimated at $ 5 billion. Completing facilities include five hotels, several floating villas, as well as beach palaces on the island of Sweden and villas on the island of Germany.
The Heart of Europe project includes six interconnected islands, which will house a total of 4,000 housing units in 15 resorts. Construction of St. Tropez, one of the largest hotels on the islands, which includes 200 rooms and recreates the atmosphere and charm of the popular French Riviera, is almost complete. The upscale Cote d’Azur beach resort, Portofino hotel and apartment buildings are scheduled to be commissioned soon.
