Turkey has been considering new measures against COVID-19 since September. Most likely, new rules will be established for the presence of vaccinated and unvaccinated people in public places, offices, universities, according to Hurriyet.
According to the newspaper, the government does not envisage changing its approach to the pandemic during the tourist season. The news is expected after mid-September, but there are no plans to lift bans on the street and preliminary measures.
Among the options considered for students are, for example, the requirement to take a PCR test or online training for the unvaccinated. The obligation to perform a PCR test every two days is also provided for non-immunized civil servants. The test will be free.
The separation of vaccinated and unvaccinated is also considered for people who want to enter closed public places.
