The Chetmi waterfall in the Tashkent region of the Turkish province of Konya enchants with its natural beauty.
Chetmi is one of the most popular places for photography, picnics and outdoor recreation.
Streams of water, formed as a result of melting snow in the Taurus Mountains and falling from the Chetmi waterfall, having overcome 150 kilometers of the way, then flow into the Mediterranean Sea.
Surrounded by steep mountains, Aybogazi Canyon is ideal for hiking and natural sports such as rock climbing.
Local tourist Muhammad Emin Kurt told the Anadolu agency that he has been working in the Tashkent region for a long time, but he is visiting this waterfall for the first time.
“We have heard about the existence of the waterfall, but we have never visited it. On the way to the waterfall, we admired the unique nature of this area. I recommend all nature lovers to visit the area, ”said Kurt.
Murat Akpinar also visits the area and Chetmi waterfall for the first time.
“This is a really great place. This area can be transformed into a more active area by turning it into a tourist center. Thus, tourism will develop and local residents will earn money, ”Akpinar said.
