The first snow fell in the city of Ardahan, the administrative center of the province of the same name in northeastern Turkey.
The torrential rain, which began on the evening of October 5, was replaced by sleet at night.
Cars parked on the streets and lanes were covered with snow.
Snowfall was also observed in the village of Gole.
