About 400 historical artifacts were seized in the southwestern Turkish province of Denizli on Friday.
Upon learning that several people were trying to sell historical artifacts in the town of Saraiki Denizli, provincial gendarmerie forces searched the car and found 390 coins, three rings and two crosses.
While the items were delivered to the museum’s management, three suspects were detained on charges of smuggling.
