From January 27, new rules for entering Tunisia came into force, tour operators report. As before, only vaccinated tourists can enter the country, but small concessions have been made for them.
From December, to board a plane to Tunisia, passengers over 18 years of age are required to have a vaccination certificate and a negative PCR test result received no earlier than 48 hours before departure. Now, instead of PCR, it is allowed to present the results of a test for the TDR-Ag antigen, made at least a day before. There are also changes upon arrival: total testing was replaced by selective testing.
Those who test positive at the airport will be quarantined. “Travelers who test positive are sent to a 5-day isolation period, which can be extended up to a week if symptoms develop or persist.”
