XII International Congress on Resort Tourism will be held in Antalya on November 23-24.
The congress will bring together representatives of the sector that shapes tourism trends in the world, Turkey and Antalya.
The event will be organized by the Association of Hoteliers of the Mediterranean Region (AKTOB), sponsored by DenizBank.
The main theme of the congress: “Tourism of the future, the future of tourism.” The purpose of the event is to develop solutions for the development of the tourism sector.
The congress will discuss the current situation in the tourism sector and possibly short, medium, and long-term changes in this sector.
The head of AKTOB, Erkan Yagci, noted that events on a global scale required a restructuring of the sector and close monitoring of developments.
According to him, this year there will be sessions within the framework of the congress, which will consider the current situation and future strategies in the field of tourism.
“There will be topics and speakers that will help structure the industry, sales, and develop marketing strategies. The Congress will open up new prospects for market and product diversification. The participants will discuss topics that will take Turkish tourism to the top again,” he said.
Yagji said that within the framework of the congress, competent persons in the field of tourism will highlight important topics such as digital transformation in tourism, the tourism economy, changes in source markets, and new trends shaping the sector.
The congress will be open to representatives of the sector and related sectors, he added.
