Tourists often choose Egypt for vacation trips. But before traveling, it is worth remembering a number of rules so as not to violate the laws of the country.
The Ministry of Tourism has announced that amateur photography in Egyptian public places is now allowed.
It is noted that earlier cameras could be confiscated from tourists for shooting on the streets. They were also interrogated and demanded licenses and permits.
Now shooting on the streets is allowed. In museums and historical sites, you can shoot on mobile phones and personal cameras without using a flash.
At the same time, there is still a ban on filming children and citizens of Egypt, if they have not given their consent to this. It is important that when photographing the streets, local residents are not included in the frame. But for commercial shooting in Egypt, you will need to obtain permission.
