Vietnam makes it as easy as possible for foreign tourists to enter the country. From May 15, the republic cancels the last covid restriction – the provision of the results of PCR and rapid tests for coronavirus when crossing the border. The corresponding decree was signed by Vietnamese Prime Minister Pham Minh Chin.
The authorities note that such easing was introduced to restore the tourism sector and by reducing the level of the epidemiological threat. “Many countries have already eased covid restrictions. Moreover, the existing vaccines are still effective against various variants of the coronavirus,” the head of the Cabinet explained.
