Two new tourist routes will appear in India

The Government of India has approved two new tourist routes in the northeast of the country.

The Government of India has approved two new tourist routes for Arunachal Pradesh to boost tourism in the northeastern part of the country. The first is Dibrugarh – Deomali – Khukanzhuri – Khonsa in the Tirap region, the second is Dibrugarh – Kanubari – Longden in the Longden region.

“The proposal of the government of Arunachal Pradesh to open new tourism routes has been considered by the central government. Accordingly, with the approval of the competent authority of the Ministry of Home Affairs, a decision has been made to open two new tourist routes in Arunachal Pradesh for tourism,” the trade union ministry of home affairs said in a circular.

In turn, the Ministry of Internal Affairs called on the government of Arunachal Pradesh to increase the capacity of the district administration, including the Tirap and Longden district police, to ensure the security of the area and create conditions favorable for the development of tourism.

According to India Tourism, Arunachal Pradesh is one of the most picturesque places in India. In the north, the region is surrounded by snow-capped mountain peaks, the height of which varies from 1829 to 6400 meters, and in the south the plains of the Brahmaputra river basin stretch. First of all, tourists, of course, are attracted by exotic nature; most of the state is covered with forests. Therefore, travelers are interested in national parks, in particular, Mowling Park, Itanagar Wildlife Sanctuary, and Tipi Orchidarium. There are other places of interest to visit. The state capital, Itanagar, has a rich history; in the 14th century, King Ramchandra of Mayapur built Fort Ita, around which the city was then formed. Mullini Than is considered a unique place of interest, the history of which begins in the 10th-12th centuries. Here stands an ancient temple containing idols of the gods and goddesses of the Hindu pantheon.
