Turkey entered the TOP 3 countries in the world in terms of the number of beaches marked with Blue Flags.
The international jury within the framework of the Blue Flag program announced the winners of 2023. Spain leads the list in terms of the number of Blue Flags, followed by Greece.
Türkiye is in third place. The sign of environmental cleanliness – the Blue Flag – in this country has received 551 beaches, 23 berths, 14 tourist ships, and 10 private yachts.
The top five also include Italy and France.
It is specified that Antalya ranks first in terms of the number of beaches and tourist ships with the Blue Flag in Turkey. Here, 231 beaches, 5 berths, and 14 tourist boats have been awarded signs of environmental cleanliness.
