In Mexico, in the resort of Playa del Carmen, located on the Caribbean coast, two tourists from Canada were killed.
According to the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Quintana Roo, an investigation has been launched into the incident in the municipality of Solidaridad: Canadian tourists were attacked with knives there. As a result, a man and a woman died from stab wounds, another man was injured.
Recall that in January, Canadian citizens have already become victims of criminals in this Mexican region, but then the dead were not tourists – they were related to the drug and arms trade.
