A tourist plane crashed today in the Beldon massif in the French Alps, in the municipality of Le Adre, department of Isère. Five people died, Figaro said.
Eyewitnesses contacted the fire department around 5 p.m. after seeing the plane disappear behind trees, followed by a huge plume of smoke.
Rescue teams are on the scene. Shortly before 19:00, the commander of the gendarmerie group in Isère and the mayor of Les Addresses Sophie Riven arrived at the scene of the tragedy.
