The longest suspended pedestrian bridge in the world is being built in the Czech Republic. It will be located in the Dolni Morava ski resort, in the northeast of the country.
The bridge, which will be 721 meters long, will cross the valley of the Mlynsky stream from the Slamnik ridge to the Khlum ridge at an altitude of 1,125 m. Toward the end of the route, the span will rise by an additional 10 m. The structure will be supported by cables, its total weight will be 400 tons.
The bridge, called Sky Bridge 721, is expected to become a new local landmark, opening in spring 2022. It can be reached by cable car.
