Hamleys, the world’s best toy store, has appeared in the duty-free zone of the capital Qatar’s Hamad airport.
Hamleys is a British international retailer and the world’s oldest toy store. It was founded by William Hamley in the image of “Noah’s Ark” in London’s High Holborn in 1760. Traveling families with children will be able to immerse themselves in a world where fairy tales come true, say the project managers.
The Hamleys store at Hamad International Airport (HIA) stocks a wide range of toys, exclusive products from world-renowned brands such as Barbie, LOL dolls, and all the traditional family classics. In addition, the store presents a line of original Hamley products, known for their exceptional quality. The most popular of them is the famous Hamley bears. The bright red and white interior of the store reflects the magical world of Hamleys and the signature fun, festive atmosphere, a mixture of magic and theater that the brand represents.
The grand opening of the Hamleys boutique at Hamad International Airport was an exciting event with many activities for adults and children. A marching band, a clown magician, a balloon stand and a photo booth took the stage. Guests were also treated to Hamleys signature biscuits and gift bags. The famous Hemley Bear and his friend Hetty Bear called passengers to the store.
Today, Hamleys is a toy store where children can play with their favorite characters and enjoy live and interactive demonstrations of 20,000 dolls and animals on public display.
