The sale of tickets for a 3-year cruise in 135 countries with calls at 375 ports has started in Turkey

The Turkish cruise company Miray Cruises announced the start of sales of tickets for a three-year round-the-world trip on March 1, 2023. As part of the program, tourists will visit 375 ports located in 135 countries on seven continents. This was announced on its official website.

It is known that the building’s MV Gemini 1992 liner will travel around seven continents from November 2023 to the end of 2026 as part of a mega tour. Undoubtedly, the prospect of spending three years at sea will not appeal to everyone, but the advantages of this type of tourism are obvious. An unusual trip is suitable, first of all, for those who work online and want to travel the world, as well as wealthy retirees who do not want to sit at home.

It should be noted that the concept of life on a ship in the world began to gain momentum with the growth of demand and offers for remote work, as for enthusiasts it is an opportunity to combine tourism and work. Last year, several companies announced new ships, the infrastructure of which meets the needs of tourists who go on long-term sailings. It is currently used as a shelter for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria.

The MV Gemini will join their ranks, but first, it will be modernized before going to sea in November this year. It is known that the ship will “rest” for several days in most ports, so travelers will have the opportunity to fully explore each of the destinations, including 13 modern and ancient wonders of the world.

The cost of the cabin is approximately $2.5 thousand per month, that is, about $83 per day. At the same time, the annual price for the cruise starts at $29,999. Cabin sizes range from 12 square meters for Virtual Inside and Oceanview cabins to 24.15 square meter suites with balconies. For this amount, tourists receive accommodation, meals according to the program, the opportunity to use restaurants, attend entertainment events, access to 14 offices and conference rooms for work, and lounge areas for recreation, and business libraries. There will also be a 24-hour hospital on board, offering free medical visits, educational sessions, and various workshops, as well as the opportunity to participate in volunteer and charity initiatives.

“Professionals need the ability to communicate with the outside world, appropriate conveniences, and functionality to perform their work. There is no other cruise product that offers such flexibility to its customers,” said Mikael Petterson, Managing Director of Life at Sea Cruises.

“Life at Sea Cruises offers the best cruise experience without sacrificing the comfort of your home,” said Sea Cruises Life’s director of sales and marketing. “Your yard is the world, your house is in the sea.”

MV Gemini first debuted as Crown Cruise Line’s flagship in 1992. Since then, the cruise ship has changed hands through a long list of owners, including Cunard, Star Cruises, and Celestyal Cruises. Turkish cruise operator and hospitality provider to the cruise sector Miray Cruises acquired the vessel in pre-2019. The ship accommodates 1,074 people.
