The Best Beaches in India to Visit in 2025: 8 Coastal Spots Untouched by Tourists

Названо найкращі пляжі Індії, які варто відвідати у 2025 році: 8 прибережних місць, де ще не було туристів

Ahead of the 2025 beach season, India is ready to surprise Ukrainian travelers not only with its famous resorts but also with numerous hidden coastal gems. Stretching over 7,500 kilometers, the country’s coastline hides countless spots where one can enjoy peace, natural beauty, and seclusion—far from the busy tourist areas.

“In 2025, we invite Ukrainian travelers to discover a different side of India—authentic, serene, and full of natural charm,” say officials from India’s Ministry of Tourism.

Instead of the usual destinations like Goa or Kerala, visitors are encouraged to explore eight lesser-known beaches, each with its own unique character and atmosphere:

Asthranga Beach, Odisha
The name translates to “explosion of colors in the evening sky.” The beach is famous for its breathtaking sunsets, when the sky lights up in shades of red and orange. Olive Ridley sea turtles also nest here, making it a paradise for photographers and nature enthusiasts.

Tilmati Beach, Karnataka
Unlike traditional golden beaches, Tilmati impresses with its black sand and rugged beauty. It can be reached via a scenic walking trail from the village of Majali. A perfect spot for adventure seekers and those who enjoy off-the-beaten-path routes.

Marari Beach, Kerala
A tranquil coastal village near Alleppey, where time seems to slow down. Surrounded by coconut groves, it is ideal for yoga, relaxation, and reconnecting with nature. Eco-tourism, healthy cuisine, and harmony with the environment are hallmarks of this location.

Butterfly Beach, Goa
A small crescent-shaped beach near Palolem, accessible only by boat, ensures peace and seclusion. It is named for the hundreds of colorful butterflies fluttering among the tropical greenery.

Mandarmani Beach, West Bengal
One of India’s longest beaches, where driving is allowed, yet it remains relatively uncrowded. Open shores, red crabs, and stunning sunsets create a serene and relaxed atmosphere.

Kapu Beach, Karnataka
Soft sand, scenic cliffs, and a historic lighthouse offer breathtaking views of the Arabian Sea. Popular with families and photographers, especially during the golden hour.

Radhanagar Beach, Andaman Islands
Although gradually gaining popularity, Radhanagar still feels untouched. Its white sand and crystal-clear water make it one of Asia’s most beautiful beaches.

Dhanushkodi Beach, Tamil Nadu
A surreal location near Rameswaram, part of a former town destroyed by a cyclone. Dhanushkodi is often called “India’s ghost town by the sea,” with a mystical charm wrapped in history and legend.

“We are confident that these hidden beaches will appeal to Ukrainian travelers who value seclusion, natural beauty, and authentic experiences,” emphasize representatives of India’s tourism industry.
