Sri Lanka launches 24/7 tourist advisory service

The Sri Lankan authorities have launched a 24-hour tourist advisory service.

It is noted that the hotline in English was created for tourists who are already in the country, as well as for those who are just planning a trip to the island.

Tourists can clarify all the information of interest by calling 1912 within the country or by calling
+9 411 242 68 00 from abroad.

Recall that earlier a state of emergency was introduced in Sri Lanka due to protests caused by a severe economic crisis, but the authorities claim that the riots did not affect the resort areas of the island, and tourists will be able to relax as usual.
