Snow has fallen in the popular Turkish ski center Ilgaz, located 45 km from the city of Kastamonu.
Precipitation in the form of rains, which fell on the eve in the region, by morning in the high mountainous regions gave way to snowfall.
The thickness of the snow cover reaches five centimeters.
Tourist Nihat Arydzhi from Chorum told Anadolu that he and his friends came to the ski center to watch the snowfall.
“On the Ylgaz mountain, the snow is still 5 centimeters thick. The mountain is beautiful. I hope the season will open as soon as possible and people will be able to come and see this beauty, ”Arydzhi said.
Mount Ilgaz, one of the highest peaks in the Black Sea region of Turkey, is located between the provinces of Kastamonu and Cankiri in the north of the country.
