All restrictions on the movement of travelers between Russia and Belarus were lifted from midnight March 18. This step was announced by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin at a government meeting on March 17.
Russia lifted restrictions on air traffic with Belarus on September 21, 2021, but strict rules for crossing land borders were in effect from March 17, 2020 until today. Now travelers can freely travel to Belarus and back by private vehicles or by tourist buses.
At the same time, it should be borne in mind that for entry, Russians still need to either provide a vaccination certificate (all Russian vaccines are recognized), or pass a PCR test 72 hours before the trip. In addition, do not forget that upon returning home, Russians must be tested within 48 hours and post information about it on public services.
