The Qatari authorities have changed the entry rules for foreign tourists.
From February 1, foreign guests will require local health insurance. It can be issued by companies registered with the Ministry of Health of Qatar (MOPH Qatar).
Thus, organized tourists will have to pay for two insurances: insurance, which is already included in the tour package, and Qatari.
Tourist business experts specify that the host companies in Qatar informed them about the innovation, to which the Qatari Ministry of Health brought this information to their attention.
Insurance for 30 days will cost 50 Qatari rials. It can be bought both online and at the airport. If the presence of a policy does not become a prerequisite for boarding a flight, then tourists with cards of international payment systems will be able to buy them upon arrival in Qatar.
