Tourists will not have enough places in hotels in Turkey for the high season. This warning was issued by the General Director of Xanadu Resort Tariq Kiranka. The main reason is the accelerating demand for popular Turkish resorts from European tourists.
“Most guests are from Russia, they account for 20%. The forecast for this year of Russian loading is 25-30%, which is slightly below the usual volume of 40%, “said the Turkish expert. But now in Turkey there is a growing demand from those countries for which in 2021 Turkey was “closed to the core.” These are primarily such large markets as the German and British, as well as the Netherlands, Poland and the Baltics. “In addition, this year will postpone the delayed demand for major congresses from all over Europe,” – said in Turkey.
This assessment is supported by the forecasts of the tourism expert of the European tour operator. “In July and August, the occupancy of hotels on the Mediterranean coast and the resorts of the Aegean will reach 90-95%. This figure corresponds to the pre-pandemic level. At the same time, a number of popular hotels may be available by mid-July, “the expert said.
