Greece has been named the most expensive Mediterranean summer destination. This is evidenced by a study by the Spanish company Mabrian Technologies.
The organization monitored the average cost of living in hotels in such countries as Greece, Italy, France, Turkey, Tunisia, Portugal, Spain, and Egypt.
So, it turned out that the cost of living in four- and five-star hotels in Greece increased compared to 2019 by 62.7 and 110 percent, respectively, to 192 and 338 euros per day.
In Egypt, prices rose to 48.3 percent, in Tunisia – up to 26.6 percent, in Portugal – up to 18 percent.
In other countries, prices for summer holidays have changed to a lesser extent.
