The Ministry of Health and Population announced the launch of a national digital platform for wellness and healthcare travel, which will be unveiled on November 10, 2025, at the World Conference on Health, Development and Population.
The platform will serve as an integrated online portal for travelers seeking medical services in Egypt — from visa applications to hospital selection and family excursions. It will allow patients to choose accredited healthcare providers, book medical procedures, and access rehabilitation and recovery services entirely online.
Covering the full cycle of a medical journey, the system connects hospitals, specialized clinics, spa resorts, and natural wellness destinations such as the Siwa Oasis, famous for its mineral-rich hot springs and healing properties.
The government will act as both a service regulator and facilitator, ensuring quality, transparency, and smooth collaboration between public and private sectors. An interactive map of certified medical and tourism providers will include dental care, cosmetic surgery, and natural rehabilitation centers — areas where Egypt offers competitive prices and growing international standards.
A digital monitoring system will track the patient’s experience from initial inquiry to post-treatment follow-up. A mobile app will provide real-time communication, feedback, and service evaluation.
