Maldives cancels PCR tests for incoming tourists

The Maldives no longer requires arriving tourists to present negative PCR tests. And this applies to both vaccinated travelers and those who have not been vaccinated against coronavirus.

Any quarantine from foreigners arriving on the islands is also no longer required. Only the recommendation to do a PCR test remains between the 3rd and 5th days of being in the Maldives.

Another news was the abolition of the mask regime. This happened after the authorities ended the state of emergency in the field of health caused by the pandemic. Now masks are not needed anywhere except in medical institutions.

The abolition of quarantine, PCR tests and masks could be good news for tourists from Ukraine who love to spend time on the islands.
