Kenya will abolish visas for citizens of all countries of the world from January 1, 2024, but entry into the country will be paid.
So, starting from the new year, those wishing to enter Kenya need to apply for an entry permit — e-Travel Authorization (ETA) costing $30.
Currently, tourists can also apply for a tourist visa online for $50. Thus, from January 1, tourists will be able to save $20.
Citizens of countries with which Kenya has a visa-free regime will have to apply for an ETA for a fee.
