From March 27, India removes all restrictions on international air traffic, introduced 2 years ago due to the coronavirus pandemic. This was reported by the Press Trust of India with reference to the country’s General Directorate of Civil Aviation.
According to the publication, six Indian airlines are allowed to fly abroad, and permits have been issued for almost 1.5 thousand flights to 43 destinations in 27 countries.
In turn, 60 foreign carriers from 40 countries were able to install programs in India. For them, the department prepared about 1,700 flight permits.
At the same time, in the future, the authorities plan to issue even more permits for flights to stimulate transportation. In this regard, analysts are already predicting a gradual decline in prices for air tickets to India.
