In Thailand, mobile service has appeared that allows tourists to quickly contact the tourist police.
The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) announced the launch of the Tourist Police I Lert U mobile app.
After receiving a signal from a foreign tourist, the police will immediately go to help. Also, guests of the country will be able to photograph the scene of the incident and immediately send a photo to the police, and the service will automatically determine the location of the tourist.
The service is linked to the Tourist Police Emergency Response Center and is available in English and Thai. But you can get help in other languages, including Russian if you request a translation service.
