In Astana, an attacker reported that a plane was mined, which was supposed to leave the capital of Kazakhstan for Taldykorgan. The passengers on board were urgently evacuated, and the aircraft was searched – no explosives were found there. The incident took place on Saturday, October 1st. The caller was quickly arrested.
It turned out to be a 37-year-old resident of the Kazakh capital. According to him, he reported about the bombing of the plane for personal purposes: the now failed passenger was late for check-in and thus wanted to delay the departure of the flight. Now the man is in a temporary detention center.
