In India, an elephant ran over tourists and forced them to pray

A huge elephant stopped a car with travelers in India – a video of the dangerous situation went viral on social networks.

According to media reports, the video was filmed during a safari: a disturbed animal is moving directly towards a car with people.

“It was not the elephant itself that caught the attention of users, but the reaction of the passengers. Some of them ask the driver to give the elephant bananas, while others panic and ask him to leave quickly.

Suddenly, one of the passengers begins to chant the mantras of the god Ganesha, the Hindu god with the head of an elephant, in an attempt to protect themselves and calm the wild animal,” sources write about the video.

As the driver begins to reverse, the elephant gradually moves away from the road towards the thickets.

The video, captioned “When a car full of brahmins meets a wild elephant,” went viral, with nearly 60,000 views and several hundred likes.

“It’s not about the mantra, but it was the right gesture on the part of both people and the elephant. They decided to retreat and give way. In the end, this is how coexistence and respect for each other’s space work,” one of the users of the social network commented on the incident.

“The mantra worked… Watch until the end… He blessed them,” another user argued with him.
