As De Telegraaf reports, in Belize a man shot tourists — a woman with two children from the Netherlands: the mother and daughter did not survive, and the boy was taken to hospital.
It is clarified that a 43-year-old tourist from the Netherlands was vacationing in Belize with her 11-year-old daughter and 8-year-old son. While they were eating ice cream at a market in Belmopan, a gunman shot at them several times. During the attack, he shouted that he wanted to “teach a lesson.”
As a result, the woman and her daughter died, and the boy was hospitalized.
It turned out that the attacker was the owner of the apartment that the family rented through Airbnb. The criminal was arrested and an investigation was launched.
