Southern Sinai Governor Khaled Fuda has announced that Sharm el-Sheikh will begin implementing standards of happiness through a specialized optical company, including the construction of al-Salam (peace) and al-Sadaq (friendship) squares in the city in accordance with MITA standards.
“MITA standards are the latest advances in modern science in managing the psychological impact of the elements of each facility or destination to create an emotional attachment to the place,” Fuda explained.
Services are based on the study, measurement and design of more than twenty elements of the area to transform the area into an attractive interactive environment.
According to him, the most important of the twenty elements are lighting, acoustics, architectural design, works of art, visual effects, music, sculptures, the characteristic smell of this place, greenery and ponds.
The standards will be applied in Al-Salam Square in Sharm el-Sheikh, which will include the creation of an area for celebrations and events, an open exhibition, an impressive multimedia display for visitors and tourists, the addition of some technical lighting and the development of traffic lights, with a modern and innovative vision, said Fuda.
