President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan called the fact that five Turkish banks accepted the Russian payment system “Mir” and began serving the corresponding cards of Russians a “relief for Russian tourists”. This was stated by the Turkish president following negotiations with Russian President Vladimir Putin in the Black Sea resort of Sochi.
“This event is a relief for both Russian tourists and Turkey,” the Turkish president said. He also informed that during his visit to Russia, the heads of the Central Bank of Russia and Turkey also met. By the way, the four-hour meeting of the heads of the two countries was the second in less than a month.
