Egypt has changed the rules of entry to resorts for tourists

For tourists entering Egypt, “upgraded” one of the antique rules of entry into the country of the pyramids: now the paper questionnaire at the airport about COVID-19 has been replaced by mandatory registration on a special site.

According to EgyptAir, all tourists arriving in Egypt must register on a special website, including uploading COVID-19 vaccination certificates or test results. This registration is made to “facilitate and expedite” procedures and will replace the questionnaire at airports.

“This step will ensure the unimpeded movement of passengers inside airports and reduce crowds in terminal halls,” the DIP quoted the carrier as saying.

This is the site Visit Egypt, which is located at visitegypt.gov.eg, and so far worked in test mode. It was launched in April, but registration was not required. However, tourists who are not registered on the site will be allowed to enter on paper documents. They will need to present a vaccination certificate or a negative PCR test or an antibody test.
