A 33-year-old British tourist was in intensive care after a bad fall near the resort of San Antonio, Ibiza. The man, whose name has not been released, decided to jump off a cliff into the sea, but fell on the rocks, according to the Daily Mail.
The tourist jumped into the water between two enclosed coves of gravel and sand surrounded by pine trees, as many travelers do. After the incident, emergency response services were mobilized, and the resort police arrived on the scene along with an ambulance team.
The tourist was carried on a stretcher to a lifeboat and taken to a private clinic in Nuestra Señora del Rosario in Ibiza in critical condition.
