Antalya Extends Tourist Season: New Dates Announced

Анталія розраховує на активний листопад і зиму завдяки гольф-туризму, спортивним зборам і різдвяним святам

Antalya, which welcomed over 17 million international visitors in 2024, is preparing for a vibrant November season and aims to maintain steady tourism into the winter months.

Season Extended into Late November

According to Kaan Kaşif Kavaloğlu, President of the Mediterranean Touristic Hoteliers Association (AKTOB), the region hopes to extend the high season until the third week of November.

“Football training camps will begin in December, followed by Christmas, New Year, and Orthodox holidays, while golf tourism will continue throughout the winter,” he said.

Around 15% of hotels remain open year-round, focusing on wellness, gastronomy, congress, and sports tourism to strengthen Antalya’s position as an all-season destination.

Strong Bookings in Manavgat and Side

The Turkish newspaper Dünya reports high booking levels in Manavgat and Side.

Local association head Zafer Süral noted that October exceeded expectations, and bookings are still strong for November.

He added that the “Night Museum” project in ancient Side significantly boosted tourist interest and supported local businesses during the off-season.

Warm Weather Continues

Despite the calendar, Antalya still feels like summer — 25–27°C by day and around 17°C at night.

Rain is not expected until late next week, while the sea remains a pleasant 24°C.
