A man crashed his friend’s car into a hotel building at the airport in the German city of Munich after he and his female companion started arguing, DPA reports concerning local police, BTA reports.
The hotel was evacuated this morning as experts said there was a risk of the building collapsing, according to a police spokesman.
However, a short time later, the technical assistance agency said the building remained structurally sound.
The police said that the driver of the car, most likely, was drunk.
The police statement says that “a blood test will determine whether the driver was drunk or under the influence of other intoxicants.”
