Coronavirus is slowly but surely coming off the “global” agenda. “Anti-covid” measures are removed in one way or another by almost all countries – both in Europe and in Asia and on other continents. The following is a list of restrictions on all countries and continents provided by the tourism industry:
Europe
- The tone here is set by Britain, which has lifted all explicit bans – and above all tests and quarantines for tourists. The last restrictions were lifted on March 18, as a result in England there is a boom in tour sales before the Easter holidays. Derek Jones, director of Kunoi, said the number of bookings had risen sharply in recent months.
- Germany will also lift most restrictions on the code from March 20, including the abolition of the mask regime in supermarkets.
- The Netherlands plans to lift all restrictions on March 23, including the entry of tourists from outside the EU. Mask mode and other mitigation are also expected.
- France will also ease entry rules. All countries of the world are divided into two categories – green and orange, based on which different requirements will apply to travelers. Those vaccinated with EMA and WHO approved vaccines are required to present a certificate of entry. Others will need a certificate of recovery or a negative COVID-19 test not older than 72 hours. A selective medical examination and coronavirus test are possible upon arrival.
As for the countries that do not “supply” but receive tourists in Europe, the situation is as follows:
- Italy will abandon sanitary passports from May 1, and from April “European” QR codes will not be needed to visit most places in the open air, and in May they will be completely abolished. li>
- In Bulgaria , “green certificates” at the entrance to all public places will also be abolished from March 21.
- Greece will no longer need to complete the Passenger Search Form (PLF) from 15 March. Romania has already taken similar measures.
Asia:
- It’s a bit tougher here, but Thailand will remove the PCR test from April 1. Entrance tests are mandatory. Internal rules have also been relaxed
- Entry conditions for tourists, simplified and Iran : for vaccinated travelers – others are simply not allowed into the country – no longer need a PCR test. All you need is a vaccination certificate in English, confirming full vaccination at least 15 days before arriving in Iran.
- Cambodia no longer requires vaccinated tourists to be tested for COVID-19 on March 17. Unvaccinated people will still be quarantined for 14 days.
- Vietnam opened to foreign tourists on March 15. A negative test for the code is required for entry, and after the arrival of travelers waiting for a quick test. You also need coronavirus insurance.
- Mongolia has removed almost all sanitary requirements for those arriving from abroad since March 14. Quarantine, PCR tests and rapid testing on arrival have been canceled. All you have to do is fill out a health questionnaire.
- Maldives no longer requires PCR tests from unvaccinated tourists, and has removed the mask mode.
- In Mauritius , the PCR test before departure for vaccinated tourists has also been canceled. However, coronavirus testing upon arrival remains mandatory.
