The Moldovan government decided to partially open the country’s airspace. Given the situation in Ukraine, passenger transportation will be carried out over the territory of Romania, follows from a message published on the official website of the Civil Aviation Administration of the republic.
Thus, from March 21, flights, including international ones, from Moldova are resumed. Due to the closed sky of Ukraine, flights cannot be carried out in the northern, eastern and southern directions, therefore they will be redirected through the western neighbor – Romania.
Flights in the airspace of Moldova were suspended by the decision of the aviation authorities at the end of February for all airlines.
