AnadoluJet launches flight program between Turkey and Budapest

Turkish low-cost airline AnadoluJet is launching flights between Budapest and Istanbul. Flights will operate three times a week.

AnadoluJet, a subsidiary of Turkish Airlines, is launching its first flight from Budapest to Sabiha Gokcen International Airport in Istanbul. Thus, the Turkish market is increasingly opening up for passengers choosing the Hungarian capital as their starting point for their journey.

On the other hand, thanks to the numerous flight options within Turkey – and AnadoluJet started out as a regional carrier operating flights within Turkey – travelers will also have convenient connections to the entire route network of the new carrier. This gives reason to believe that AnadoluJet will be in great demand among both business travelers and tourists from many countries, including those using Turkey as an intermediate point for low-cost flights to closed European countries.

The airline’s fleet includes 53 new Boeing 737-800s owned by Turkish Airlines, with 189 seats on board. At the moment, Budapest Franz Liszt International Airport offers almost 6,500 seats to Turkey every week.
