Sweden remembers and honors the memory of Ukrainians who died during the Revolution of Dignity 7 years ago while fighting for democracy.
We will support important legislative steps of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on the way to justice: the resolution recognizing the Revolution of Dignity as a key element of Ukrainian statehood and emphasizing effective investigations of crimes committed during the Revolution of Dignity, and Bill 2164 should allow Maidan’s affairs to move further in the courts and law enforcement agencies.
We call on all parties involved to continue the investigation for the victims and their families. The efforts of civil society and the families of the victims have been and remain crucial in these processes. Full support must be provided to ensure justice.
